Story
A bigger take on our old Ultrahigh Rolltop. An inch deeper and five inches taller when unrolled gives it an extra 20% or so of carrying capacity. A redesigned Fidlock/Biothane roll closure system can be both rolled or flapped closed with a wide range of sizing possibilities. Double Fidlocks on either side allow for more roll options. Dual compression straps mean the bag can get quite compact when empty, allowing for more comfortable carry at a wider range of loads.

Of course many of the key features remain from the original rolltops, starting of course with the Ultrahigh Dyneema Composite itself. Lightweight and super stable, the Dyneema Composite has almost no stretch allowing for a back that combines the flexibility of a fabric pack with the stability of a hard shell bag. It’s light enough when empty that you can forget you are wearing it, but strong enough to load up to the max without worry. A super stiff and light removable Armordon backplate distributes weight and prevents objects from poking into the wearers back. The backplate sheath doubles as a flat internal pocket. Dynylon webbing on inner top back allows for extra pockets or dividers to be laced in. Two external stretch pockets on the side and one external zip pocket allow for quick stashing of objects without opening the main compartment.
Fabric
Ultrahigh Logo
A nonwoven composite of Dyneema brand ultra high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE), the world’s strongest fiber. The Dyneema fiber is bonded and encased in BoPET by Cubic Tech in Mesa Arizona, using their proprietary nonwoven process. The resulting material is sometimes called “Cuben” or CTF3, which we then have laminated to a light polyester outer face for additional abrasion resistance to produce Ultrahigh Dyneema Composite. The result is a composite fabric that is waterproof, super light and relatively strong, with a remarkable structure and dark angular texture that deepens as it ages.

It is important to note that while Dyneema may be the world's strongest fiber, this process is NOT about making the world's strongest fabric. Instead it is about making a lighter and more dimensionally stable fabric to create bags that are easier to carry. While the bags will hold up to wear and are more durable than most other bags in their weight class, they are not particularly more durable than your average heavy nylon bag.
